hey! my name is kaiwen zhou, but you can call me kai.

previously i was a product engineer on the notifications/communications team at asana.

i quit in 2022 and went traveling to japan for a bunch for 3 years. i had a lot of fun going around japan, practicing my japanese, snowboarding in the soft snow in hakuba, and meeting some very cool people.

i'm currently back in sf, building personal projects and looking for a new fulltime role.
